2026 company auditions

Chicago Repertory Ballet is holding auditions for company dancers and apprentices for our 2026/2027 Fall - Spring contract periods. Positions include weekly pay, physical therapy access, company class, pointe shoes and a robust performing schedule..

Chicago Repertory Ballet enthusiastically encourages BALLET FOCUSED DANCERS of all gender identities and racial backgrounds to apply. Pointe shoes and pas de deux are prominent in our repertoire and proficiency in one or both are necessary for company artists. Contemporary dance experience necessary.

DANCERS MUST SEND THEIR AUDITION MATERIALS VIA GOOGLE FORM AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THEIR AUDITION DATE.*

Headshot: JPEG or PNG format only

Ballet Dance Shot: JPEG or PNG format only

PAPER MATERIALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

*Gibney requires names and email addresses for all folks entering this venue 72 hours in advance of our rental. This deadline is important so we may supply the venue with the required information per the rental requirements.

Chicago Repertory Ballet will accept video audition materials in lieu of an in-person audition. Video auditions may or may not be reviewed. In-person will be heavily prioritized. Video submissions can be sent to:

US citizenship or valid work visa are required for all contractors. Chicago Repertory Ballet can not help non-citizens acquire a work visa.
