Chicago Repertory Ballet JUNIOR INTENSIVE

Train with the artists of Chicago Repertory Ballet in this fun and challenging one week intensive perfect for your dancer’s Summer study plans! Dancers will train in ballet, pointe (or pre-pointe), contemporary/modern dance, and classical repertoire, This one week intensive is an ideal opportunity for students to hone their technique and artistry in a welcoming and nurturing environment. Due to an overwhelming positive response from last year’s junior intensive studenst we will now offer both one week and two week options for this intensive.

Week 1 | July 13 - July 17, Location TBD

Week 2 | July 20 - July 24, Location: Dance and Music Academy 4330 Di Paolo Center, Glenview IL

THIS INTENSIVE IS FOR DANCERS ENTERING 4TH GRADE - 8TH GRADE

AUDITION INFORMATION

Date: Tuesday January 13th 4pm - 5:30pm

Location: Dance and Music Academy, 4330 DiPaolo Center, Glenview IL

Fee: $15

Info: Dancers will take a full ballet class as their audition. See our summer intensive page for intensive and audition dress code. Live audition or teacher recommendation mandatory.

Junior INTENSIVE GENERAL INFORMATION

Ages: 4th grade - 7th grade

Fee: One week $395 | Two weeks $775

Sample Schedule:

9:30am - 11:00am Ballet technique class

- 15 minute break-

11:15am - 12:15pm Pointe work

12:15pm - 12:45pm Lunch

12:45pm - 2:00pm Contemporary

- 15 minute break -

2:15pm - 3:30pm Classical Repertoire
