This exciting mixed repertoire program will feature world premiere works alongside revivals of favorite CRB dances. Modern Motions will feature the Chicago premiere of Brian Enos’ Blue Roses Falling. First created on the artists of The Big Muddy Dance Company, this spectacular dance work makes its way to Chicago this May! This program also features Shannon AlvisTrees, Melody. This sumptuous dance takes the audience to a landscape of wind whipped trees which bend to the music of Ezio Bosso. Modern Motions offers two world premiere works: Lúa Descolorida by founding artistic director Wade Schaaf and a world premiere by the choreographic duo of Braeden Barnes and Michelle Meltzer. Rounding out the program are Birthday Fête, a Neo-classical romp to the music of Mendelssohn choreographed for CRB’s 10 year anniversary, and the company premiere of Spring Waters pas de deux!
